Delphine Sapaly, engineer in animal experimentation, has worked since 2014 with Suzie Lefebvre on a project which investigates the effects of a candidate drug for the therapy of Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA).
After having studied agricultural, food and environmental science in a French graduate collège, Delphine specialized in plant biotechnology, before obtaining a position in medical biology.
She joined Frédéric Charbonnier’s team in 2014. She works with Suzie Lefebvre on a valorization project funded by the company Satt IDF Innov, which investigates the effects of a candidate drug for the therapy of Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). The goal of the project is to understand the molecular mechanisms that have therapeutic potential in the SMA disease mouse model.
